With 40 years of US manufacturing, Cuddledown is proud to celebrate Manufacturing Day today! We make all of our fine quality bedding – cozy comforters, fluffy pillows, and comfy featherbeds and mattress pads right here in Yarmouth, Maine – a state known for a long history of textile manufacturing.
100 years ago, there wouldn’t have been a need perhaps, but with so many US-based factories moving abroad or industries simply going away (is anyone still manufacturing 8-track tape players, slide projectors, rotary telephones?) it’s good to celebrate industries that are thriving or making a return!
