We’re so proud of Maine rower Ellie Logan, who earned her second consecutive Olympic gold medal today in the women’s 8 rowing competition! Logan, who is from Boothbay Harbor, began rowing in high school and went on to compete for Stanford. At the 2012 games, she and her teammates defeated top rival Canada by half a boat length, building upon their strong lead and expanding it over the course of the race. Congratulations, Ellie and team!
